Services for Leslie
Allen Cato, Jr., 64, of Daingerfield were held Monday, Feb 1, 1999, at
South Union Baptist Church with Rev. Neal Clark officiating. Mr. Cato
died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, in Hughes Springs. He was born Oct. 20,
1934 in McAlister, OK. He was an employee of Delta Fabrication.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Martin Haley
of Daingerfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Teresa Cato of
Daingerfield and Daniel and Margie Cato of Naples; one brother, George
Cato of Lone Star; two sisters, Pansey Bradley of NM and Mary Nix of
Bullard; and six grandchildren. Burial was held in Blevins Cemetery
under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. (Location Unknown)

Services for Mr. Don H.
Hitt, 65, of Cason, were Friday, December 29, 2000 at First Baptist
Church in Cason with the Rev. Scott Darby and Rev. Michael White
officiating. Mr. Hitt was born July 25, 1935 in Ellis County. He died
Tuesday, December 26, 2000 at Titus Regional Medical Center. He was
married to Melba White Hitt for 44 years, was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Cason, was employed with Lone Star Steel for 36 years
in public relations and was a well known photographer. Survivors
include his wife, Melba Hitt; son David Hitt; and grandson Joshua Hitt,
all of Cason; mother Ola Mary Hitt of Mount Pleasant; sister and
brother-in-law Myra and Carl Miller of Paris; niece Holly Nations of
Virginia; nephew Joe Miller of Alaska and mother-in-law Mary Tolbert of
Mount Pleasant. Burial was in Blevins Cemetery. (Location Unknown)
