POLICY FOR OBITUARY REQUESTS

  • Obituary requests need to be submitted in writing to:

      Midland Centennial Library
      c/o Genealogy Department
      2503 W Loop 250 N
      Midland, Texas 79705

  • Each request must include name of the deceased and the death date

  • We have microfilm of Midland Reporter-Telegram from 1930 to present

  • A check in the amount of $3.00 per obituary payable to �Midland County Public Library� must accompany each request

    • � �
  • This fee is intended to cover the cost of the search, and is non-refundable even in cases where the requested obituary is not located

  • If email address is provided, obituaries will be emailed

    • �
  • Upon request, obituaries may be photocopied and mailed to the patron at no additional cost
