Brenham Daily Banner, October 12, 1892

The Banner neglected yesterday to direct attention to the card of Dr. H. E. Gaedcke, dental surgeon, who recently moved here from Hallettsville and succeeded Dr. J. E. Muse, on the west side of the public square. He comes well recommended as a man thoroughly conversant with all branches of dentistry and solicits a share of the patronage.--Brenham Daily Banner, October 13, 1892

Attention is directed to the dental card of Eversberg & Weibusch, who recently bought out Dr. H. E. Gaedcke and are now located at corner of court house square, over Luhn's lower drug store, where they will be pleased to have their friends and the public generally call on them.--Brenham Daily Banner, April 4, 1895

Ida Gaedcke

Schulenburg Sticker, 24 Aug 1905, Zapp Zephyrs column

The C. T. Zapp family was present at little Ida Gaedcke’s funeral last Thursday. Ida was six years old in October. When she was two years old her mamma died and ever since she has been with her grand-parents “Gaedcker” who took good care of the four children and idolized little Ida, who was a bright and effectionate [sic] child but frail from babyhood. She took dyphtheria [sic] two years ago and recovered, now became a victim of typhoid fever, suffered 20 days and just before death ceased the beating of the little heart, congestion of the brain set in. The nearest relatives and Miss Rosa Coleman accompanied her remains from Allyton to the Fayetteville cemetery where they were laid to rest beside the dear ones gone before. May God, Who took this innocent child to His glory, cheer the bereft by letting them realize that she died in purity before she was acquainted with life’s worries and miseries.
