PROHIBITION PHOTO

A lot of research was put into placing the photo.

This photo was on our unknown page and with some help from other researchers it has been positively identified.  Thanks go to Sammy at the museum, Wayne for sending the photo's to place it, and to Doris, Anna and my Dad,  who like I drove all over down town looking for something to match.  All that is left of it is one floor now.  I'll get a current photo and add to this page.

This photo was in my grandfathers stuff Jack Halbert.  The Young man in the front behind the first horse is John Monroe Halbert Jacks father.   He married Selina Eaton.  They were blacksmiths and wagon makers.  Also believed to be in the photo are the parents of John, they were William Franklin Halbert & Emma, also in the blacksmith & wagon making business.

You can tell by looking at the windows that this is the same building.  After the fire there is only one floor remaining in 1981.
