Griffith Family Info

The info I have for Sarah Vilura Griffith is born 1/31/1890, died 9/3/1968, this is apparently not correct. I see on the photo of the headstone that it says Sarah Villera Griffith born 1/31/1880, died 9/3/1889. I am not sure where I got the information. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of the Griffith family can help me figure out whose child Sarah Villera Griffith is. As far as I know James Newton Griffith only had one wife, Madgie, and I have seen the marriage license which is dated 1884. Any information would be greatly appreciated. E. Madgie Griffith

Full name Elizabeth Magdalene Peavy, aka Maggie or Madgie, she married James Newton Griffith on March 15, 1884 in Miller County. (recorded Book C pg 386) They had eleven children.

1. Sarah Vilura Griffith, dau born January 21, 1885

2. William Jefferson Griffith, son, born 8/15/1885

3. Mary Anna Griffith, dau, 6/29/1888 (aka Mollie) married Bert Roberts

4. Thomas Newton Griffith, son, born 2/10/1890

5. John Aaron Griffith, son, born 10/10/1890, died 10/27/1890

6. Luther Pratt Griffith, son, born 2/3/1893

7. Herbert Miller Griffith, son, born 11/1896

8. Elfie Lula Griffith, dau, born 11/4/1898 married Luther Applet Scott, then a Jones

9. Joel Bryan Griffith, son, born Jan 1900

10. Laura Elizabeth Griffith, dau, born 1902, married Tony Earl Faulkinbury

11. Dennis Lyman Griffith, son, born 11/17/1904
