From Kerrville go south on SH 16 across the bridge and turn right on Thompson Drive. Go past the state hospital on Shepard-Rees Road. The cemetery is on your left. In early records this cemetery was also known as Kerrville State Sanatorium Cemetery, Kerrville State Home Cemetery or Kerrville State Hospital Cemetery.
A security guard escort is required when visiting the cemetery.

This data is from “Cemeteries of Kerr County, Texas, 1859-1976” published by Kerrville Genealogical Society in 1980. Field notes were done by Arlene and Fred Tolman who copied the stones in the cemetery and provided that information to the Kerrville Genealogical Society for publication.
