Directions to the Cemetery:

From Kerrville, take State Hwy 27 West to Ingram.   At the traffic light in Ingram, bear right and continue
on State Hwy 27 for about 6 miles.    When you come to the bridge over  "Dry Branch Creek",
do not cross the bridge but turn and park on the left (West) side of the highway well off of the highway.
Walk a short distance toward the bridge & creek bed, then climb a steep embankment that
goes to the top of a small hill. The cemetery will be visible once you reach the top
of that hill.     It is surrounded by a chain link fence.

In 1976 Arlene and Fred Tolman  surveyed Dry Branch Cemetery.    This survey was published in
"Cemeteries of Kerr County, Texas, 1859-1976" by   Kerrville Genealogical Society.
In November 2004, James and Shirley Webb went to the cemetery, took photos of the stones
and made notes on its exact location.   A visiting relative of a nearby resident,
had been to the cemetery as a boy and was able to help the Webbs find it.
It is easy to see once you climb the embankment at the right place.
