(Obit - Mrs. T. C. Alexander, age 81 yrs., died at her residence some three miles northwest 
of here in Hunt county, and was buried in Cumby cemetery. Mrs. Alexander was born March 2, 
1850, and was the daughter of Henry Banta, a pioneer Missionary Baptist minster who located 
here about 1845. She was born in the same neighborhood in which she died. She was married 
to T. C. Alexander Jan. 18, 1866. Her husband died in Jan. 1931, at the of 90 and resided 
here since 1852. She was the mother of eleven children, seven sons and four daughters, all 
whom are living, except one son who died in infancy.)
