in Action in France July 18, 1944.

Entered the Army Engineers in 1942, trained at Camp Bowie, and served in Australia, East Indies, New Guinea, Philippines, and other Pacific Islands. Has Pacific Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with battle stars, Citation and other honors.
NOLEN, David Roy, S/Sgt., son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nolan, husband of the former Vernell Milnee. Entered Air Corps in February 1943, trained at Amarillo, TX. Has Served with B-29's in the Marianas, Pacific Ribbons with Battle Stars and other honors.
NORDIN, Eldis T. son of Mr. and Mrs. George Nordin, husband of the former Lillian Doris Williams. Entered Army Infantry October 1941, trained at Camp Collin. Served in Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Germany. Has American Defense and ETO Ribbon with Battle Stars and other decorations.
NORDIN, Charles (Dick), Pfc., son of Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Nordin, entered the Signal Corps, August 1943, trained at Camp Wallins in California. Served in India and now at Calcutta. Has Good Conduct and other honors.
NORDIN, James T. WO., son of Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Nordin, husband of the former Temple Russel. Entered Signal Corps March 1942, trained at Camp Claiborne, LA.  Served in France, Belgium, Germany and Austria. Has ETO Ribbon with battle stars and other honors.
NORMAN, Myrl G. T/Sgt., son of Mrs. Mattie L. Norman. Entered Army Air Corps in March 1941, trained at Camp Grant, IL.
NORRIS, Ownby T. Pfc., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ownby Norris, husband of the former Apha Pearl Phillips. Entered the Army in January 1944, trained at Sheppard Field, Wichita Falls, TX. Served in France, Germany. Has ETO and PTO Ribbons and other honors.
NORTON, Howard E. Pfc., son of Mr. Howard Norton, husband of the former Elnita Stone. Entered Army April 1944, trained at Camp Fannin, TX. Served in Germany.  Has ETO Ribbon with battle stars and other honors.

ONLEY, Howard B. Lt., son of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Onley, husband of the former Jane Lemon. Entered the air Corps October 1942, trained at Santa Ana, CA. Served in England with 8th Air Force. Has Air Medal with OLC, ETO Ribbon with Battle stars and other honors.
ORREN, Weldon, Cpl., son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Orren, husband of the former Eugenia Huckeba. Entered Marines 1940, trained at San Diego, CA. Served on Guadalcanal, Leyte, has Combat Ribbon with Battle Stars, Pre-Pearl Harbor Ribbon and other honors.
ORREN, Joe W. Cpl., son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Orren, husband of the former Kathryn Avaritt. Entered Air Corps in August 1942. Trained at Camp Wolters, TX.  Served in Australia. Has Campaign Ribbon with Battle Stars and other honors.
OSBON, Willie, Pfc., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Osbon, husband of the former Lois Farmers. Entered Army in May 1940, trained at Ft. Cook, Nebraska. Served in England, France, Germany. Has ETO Ribbon and other honors.
OSBON, Dee, Pfc., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Osbon, husband of the former Fay Dixon. Entered the Army in February 1943, trained in Florida and Camp Butner, NC.
OSBORN, Dwane A. Pvt., son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Osborn. Entered the Marines, January 1945, trained at Paris Island SC. Served in Pacific Theatre. Has Sharpshooters Medal, Combat Ribbon and other honors.
OSTEEN, Harbin F. Sgt., son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Osteen. Entered Army in September 1942. Trained at Leesville, LA. Served in North Africa and Italy. Has Combat Ribbon with battle stars and other honors.

OWENS, James A. Cpl, son of Mrs. Mary Owens. Entered the Army in August 1940, trained at Ft. Sill, OK. Served in France, and Germany. Has ETO Ribbon with battle Stars and other honors.
OWENS, Ray D. S/Sgt., son of Mr. Charlie Owens. Entered Army in January 1940, trained at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. Served in Australia, New Guinea, Admiralty islands, Philippines, and others. Has Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart with OLC, Bronze Star. Wounded in Action February 1945, discharged July 1945.
OWENS, Coy E. Pvt., son of Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Owens. Entered Army in January 1945, trained at Camp Hood, Texas. Now enroute overseas.
