At the residence of J. M. McDaniel near Peoria, Texas, on the 22nd of May at 3:30 p m, Mr. C. A. Batemon to Miss Cammie Brown, Rev. J. M. McDaniel officiating.  The contracting parties live near Hillsboro.  The father of the bride and a number of friends of the young couple were present.

Married

Mr. T. P. Fields and Miss Zula Coxley and Mr. Edward Bruce and Miss Lyda York came up from Emmett, Navarro County, and were married here Monday.  They were accompanied by Mr. Ed Lemmons of Mertens, and Miss Alice Marvin Stone of Emmett, also Mr. Marvin Fields and Miss Etta McAfee of Emmett.

May 18th 1904

  Dr. C. M. Reavis and Mrs. M. L. Gray were married Wednesday at the residence of Capt. T. B. Smith south of town.  The groom passed through here in the automobile of W. H. Coffman of Itasca.  Mr. Coffman, Dr. McFerrin who officiated at the marriage, and one or two other friends being with him.  After the ceremony, they returned to Itasca in the automobile.  The bride is a most estimable lady.  She taught in the Itasca schools last year, but had been teaching this year, until recently, near Capt. Smith’s.  The groom is one of the leading dentists of the state and stands high in the county.
