Mae C. Whitaker

HASKELL — Mae Catherine Whitaker, 88, of Haskell died Friday, April 6, 2012, in Wichita Falls.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Greater Independent Baptist Church in Haskell with the Rev. Charlie T. Johnson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.   A wake will be 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include five daughters, Alberta Oudums of Midland, Alice Collins of Haskell, Arie Swearengin of Midland, Betty Modkins of Fort Worth and Stephanie Sullivan of Midland; two brothers, Charlie T. Johnson of Oakland, Calif. and William Johnson of Marlin, Texas ; one sister, Margaret Wilson of Marlin; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren.
