Thurman Stout entered into his eternal home on December 11, 2011. Born January 28, 1925, in Clarksville, Texas, Thurman was the son of William Elliot (Ellis) Stout and Hattie Beulah Long. He married Feba Jo Turnbow on October 30, 1943, in Clarksville, Texas. They have been members of the Weinert Foursquare Church since 1953 and were charter members of the Haskell Foursquare Church. He was dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who served his country during World War II, was a lifetime farmer, and faithfully served the Lord throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Feba Jo Turnbow Stout; 9 brothers, Clyde, Clarence, Marvin, William, George, Thurbert, Floyd, Wesley, and Herschel; and 5 sisters, Rosie, Effie, Essie, Myrtle, and Mary.

Survivors include his children, Thurman Wayne Stout and wife Jeanie of Haskell, and Grenetta Sue Bledsoe and husband Philip of Weatherford; grandchildren, Miechell Dawn Fourton and husband Edward Patrick, Waylon Shane Stout and wife Keri, and Tammy Renee' Addison and husband Rusty; great-grandchildren, Megan Jennings and husband Jacob, Ryan Baker, Hannah Stout, Kara Stout, Sara Stout and Joy-Anna Stout.
Pallbearers are Shane Stout, Ryan Baker, Jacob Jennings, Todd Herricks, Larry Lytle, Mondy Mayfield, Riley Pace, and Barry Walker. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Carrol, W.R. Hager, Tiffen Mayfield, Melvin Vojkufka, and Jerry Walker.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Haskell Foursquare Church. Burial will be at the Weinert Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday evening, December 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thurman's name to Weinert Cemetery.
