Elida Lopez Reyna

Elida Lopez Reyna, 76, passed away Sunday
morning, February 19, 2012, in Knox City, Texas.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday,
February 23, 2012, at St. George Catholic Church
in Haskell with Fr. George Roney officiating.
Burial will be at the O'Brien Cemetery under the
direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A
rosary is planned for Wednesday evening,
February 22, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral
home in Rochester.
Elida Lopez was born March 3, 1935, in Roby,
Texas to Manuel and Maria (Marines) Lopez. She
married Jessie Reyna in Benjamin, Texas on March
2, 1961 and they have resided in Rochester for
51 years. Mrs. Reyna was a homemaker and a
member of St. George Catholic Church in Haskell.
Elida is preceded in death by her parents,
Manuel and Maria Lopez, Sr.; 3 brothers, Max
Lopez, Manuel Lopez, Jr., Alex Lopez; and a
sister, Beatrice Longoria.
She is survived by her husband, Jessie Reyna of
Rochester; 7 daughters, Stacy Reyna of
Rochester, Olivia Saucedo of Richardson, Linda
Hearn of Knox City, Chris Reyna of Abilene,
Susan Webb of Rochester, Helen Lopez of Haskell,
Anna Estrada of Ft. Worth, and Teresa Estrada
also of Ft. Worth; 3 sons, Billy Frausto of
Dallas, Manuel Estrada, and Mark Estrada both of
Ft. Worth; 3 brothers, Arthur Lopez of Ft.
Worth, Joe Lopez of Abilene, and Frank Martinez
of Salina, Kansas; 3 sisters, Argentina
Longoria, Dina Beltran and Tina Gomez all of
Stamford; 25 grandchildren; 41
great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great
grandchildren.
