Mickey Melton, 69, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009, in Olney, Texas. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009, 10 am, in the Willow Cemetery, Haskell, TX.

Mickey was born May 12, 1939, to the late Freddie and Ruby Melton in Haskell. He was the manager of Time Out Beverages for 45 years. Mickey also served his country in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Melton; his mother, Ruby Melton; his brother, Jack Melton and his sister Mary Juanelle Melton.

Survivors include: brother Garry Melton and wife Cherry of Olney; sister Sue Story and husband Donald of Newcastle; Nieces, Donna Watson of Newscstle, Debbie Wilkinson and husband Brad of Newcastle, and Kimberly Foster and husband Mark of MiltonFreewater; Nephews Billy Story and wife Patricia of Olney and Kyle Melton and wife Monica of Buena Vista, CO; three grand nieces, two grand nephews, six great grand neices, two great grand nephews and many friends.
