Pauline Dick, longtime resident of Haskell, passed away Friday evening, July 27, 2012 at Care Inn in Abilene. Mrs. Dick was 88. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Haskell with Pastor David White officiating and former Pastors Dean and Pat Quade assisting. Burial will take place at Willow Cemetery following the service under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Pauline can be visited by family and friends today from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Haskell.

Pauline Neinast was born in Sagerton, Texas on December 28, 1923, to Herman C. and Otilia (Jander) Neinast. She married Paul Dick on September 24, 1948 in Rule. Pauline was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she served as Treasurer for 13 years, Secretary for 7 years and taught Sunday school for more than 40 years. She loved and cared for the elderly. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes to pass the time.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Otilia Neinast; her husband, Paul Dick; 5 sisters; and 1 brother.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Paulette Goodman of Abilene; 1 sister, Sylvia Crow of Hillsboro, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 7630 US Hwy 380 E, Haskell, TX 79521 or to hospice.
