Funeral Services of N. S. Clark
Held Here Sunday
N. S. Clark, age 71 died Saturday night, Oct.
18, at 11 o'clock at the home of his son W. T. Clark of the Gilliam
Community.
Mr. Clark had been a great sufferer, having been afflicted since the fall of
1919 and had been confined to his bed for the last three years. He moved here from McLennan County
several years ago, but because of his affliction he was unable to make a
large acquaintance, but he was loved and cherished by those who knew him.
He was converted in an early age and had lived a
consistent member of the Baptist
Church for many years.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Ben. F. Roberts at the grave
Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock after which his remains were laid to rest in
Willow Cemetery in this city.
A large concourse of sorrowing friends were present
to pay their last respects to him who had lived so well.

MS, in 1853 and migrated to Texas via Mississippi
