Mac W. Hiltpold

KERRVILLE – Services for Mac W. Hiltpold, 84, of Kerrville, who died Wednesday in a Kerrville hospital, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Father Alan Conley officiating.   Inurnment will follow in the Church Columbarium.

Born in Haskell County, Feb 15, 1909, Mr. Hiltpold had been a resident of Kerrville since 1981.   He was a sales engineer with Waukesha Pearce Industries for 15 years, retiring in 1971 and was a veteran of World War II.   He was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and the American Legion.   He attended Culver Stockton University in Canton, Mo.

He married Erma Alice Jackson on June 14, 1941, in Houston.   She survives along with numerous nieces and nephews.    Memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.

Kerrville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Mac Hiltpold was born “McConnell W. Hiltfold” and was the son of William T. and Freda Hiltpold.
The 1910 Haskell County Census shows the family living in the Sagerton area.
