The Science Club of Gladewater High School has the distinction of bveing affiliated with the National Junior Academy of Science.  In its infancy having set the requirements for this honor, it is expected that the club will continue to grow and to merit this reconnition.

The organization of the club, educationally, is based upon the desire to be with others, to listen to their ideas, to learn from others, and to add their experiences to our own.  The aim of the club in this respect is to capitalize this spirit of gregariousness and through it achieve the fundamental purpose of all education, which is to develop scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

"All the progress that this world has ever seen has been made against established traditions, organizations, and activities."  In the Science Club of Gladewater High School each member is encouraged in his particular interests and ideas.  To this fact we look for edcucational profit to all because we feel that "when agreement in ideas and interests becomes complete, we cease to learn."
