Edward Ray "Ed" Beall 1926 - 2006

Edward Ray "Ed" Beall, age 80, passed away on September 26, 2006, in Alvin. 

Ed was born on January 23, 1926, in Post, Texas, to parents Eppes Whiten and Mary Dodson Beall. He was a lifetime resident of Liverpool, a lifetime Trustee of the Liverpool Union Church, and a charter member of the Liverpool Fire Department. Ed was also an avid golfer and played on the Amoco Golf Team. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and gardening. He also loved to polka and waltz. 

He married Phyllis Grupe on September 14, 1946, at First Christian Church in Alvin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jack Beall, sister Dora Lunday, daughter Jo Ann Beall and grandson Zachary Herrington. 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis, of Liverpool; daughters, Janet Biano of Brazoria, Carol Green-Merchant and husband, Eddy, of Alvin, and Sharon Herrington of Angleton; grandchildren, Nancy Christian, Donna McKee and husband, Brent, Sam Green, Luke Green, Christopher Herrington and Rachel Herrington. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Froberg Chapel. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday September 29, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Froberg Chapel with Bro. Bob Caperton officiating. Interment will follow at Liverpool Cemetery.
