She was preceded in death by her parents: James Allen & Rose (Shankle) Dorris.
She is survived by her husband Manuel Leal of Pearsall; sons: Manuel Leal, Jr., and Mark Dorris both of Pearsall, and Paige Tilley of Illinois; daughters: Santiaga Rose Leal and Joy Leal both of Pearsall and Theresa Tilley of Illinois; brothers: Allen Dorris of Diehlstadt, MO, Garry Dorris of East Prairie, MO, Wylie Dorris of KY, Archie Dorris of Poplar Bluff, MO and Larry Dorris of MO; sisters: Terry Dampier of Simsboro, LA, Lucy Slaven of Phoenix, AZ, Shelby Holmes of Charleston, MO, Lola Bryars of East Prairie, MO and Anne Staggs of KY and 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 5PM until 8:30PM in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home in Pearsall, with a Rosary to be recited at 7PM.
Funeral service will be held at 2PM Thursday, January 6, 2011 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Catholic East Cemetery, Pearsall.
