DeWitt Hedrick Redding & Frank Manning
On December 8, 1907, tragedy struck the Redding and Manning families of Falls Co, Texas when a "practical" joke backfired and Frank Manning accidentally shot and killed his best friend, DeWitt Hedrick Redding... a younger brother of my grandfather James Byers Redding. DeWitt Hedrick Redding is buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery.
