Letter From Corpus Christi.

To The Democrat:
       We got rain at last, it rained over two inches in one night, so that cisterns and tanks got full.  The drouth (sic) is now broken.
       All farmers are looking proud now so that the cabbage and onions can come up.  The seed has been all planted.
       The prospect for a good cabbage and other truck crop can be good yet.  It will not come as soon on market as last spring.
       The cotton crop this year was over half a bale to acre, and was all sold from 12 to 14 cents.  There are only a few that hold their cotton for 15 cents.
