ROSE A. GORGAS
March 13, 1913-June 9, 1998

Rose A. Gorgas Reichardt, of Riesel died Tuesday, June 9 at her home.  She was 85.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 11 from the Frieden's Evangelical and Reformed UCC, with Rev. John Hayden officiating.  Burial followed in the Frieden's Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Reichardt was born March 23, 1913 in McLennan County to Fritz and Hulda Conrad Gorgas.  She attended schools in Riesel.  Mrs. Reichardt was always an outdoors person enjoying nature, raising berries and flowers for many years.  She married Harry Reichardt on August 19, 1937 in Waco.  He preceded her in death on March 6, 1993 in Marlin.

Survivors include one daughter, Violet Polster and husband Leonard of Riesel; one brother, Rudolph Gorgas of Mart; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Adams Funeral of Marlin was in charge of arrangements.
