FUNERAL SERVICES PLANNED
TODAY FOR MRS. GATES

       Funeral services for Mrs. W. H. Gates of 1303 James will be at 2:30 p. m. today in Connally Funeral Chapel with Rev. Riley W. Eubank officiating.  Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.

       Mrs. Gates, 77, died Tuesday in a local hospital.

       Mrs. Gates was a member of the Centennial Chapter, OES and a member of  the Seventh and James Baptist Church.  She was born in Chilton, and had lived in Waco since 1947.

       Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. R. L. Mitchell of 1301 James and Mrs. Jewel Garner of Hagerman, N. M.; two sons, Charles Gates of Baytown and Wilson Gates of Hearne, one brother C. C. Cooley of Chilton; five grandchldren and four great-grandchlldren.

RITES PENDING

       Mrs. W. H. Gates of 1303 James died early today at Providence Hospital.  She was 77.

       Funeral arrangements are pending at Connally Funeral Home.

       Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. R. L. Mitchell of 1301 James and Mrs. Jewel Garner of Hagerman, N. M.; two sons, Charles Gates of Baytown and Wilson Gates of Hearne, one brother C. C. Coolely of Chilton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
