VERLENE MCCANN was born in Marlin, TX on January 4, 1929. She joined St Mark Baptist Church where she was actively involved in giving & devoting much of her time & energy in to helping othres. She leaves to cherish her memories: 6 daughters, Sandra, Leveta, Reba, Regina, Shusheron, & LaTunga; 2 sons, Revis & Rickey; sister Ernestine Hays; brother Joseph. Wake: Friday., Sept. 22, 2000, 7-9 pm at St. Mark Baptist Church. Service: Sat., Sept. 23, 2000, 11 am also at St. Mark Baptist Church, 4536 Phillip Street, Rev. Allen C. Madison, pastor.
