Pecina Garcia, 84, of Marlin entered into rest Friday, March 24, 2006. Rosary
was held at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Adams Funeral in Marlin.
Funeral Mass was held at 10:30
a.m., Monday, March 27, 2006 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Reverend Nat
Roppolo officiating Burial followed at the Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Garcia was born June 22, 1921
in Cameron, to Albino and Senovia Pecina.
She met and married Tom H. Garcia
in 1944 and lived all her married life in Marlin. She was a member of Santa
Maria del Pilar Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, also a member
of Association of Guadalupanas.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, parents and step-daughter Janie Martinez, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include two sons, Tom
Garcia Jr., of Marlin, Jessie Garcia of Robinson; four daughters, Mary
Rodriquez of Chilton, Gloria Rodriquez of Mesa, AZ, Molly Downes and Dolores
Moreno, both of Marlin; stepson, Charlie Garcia of Snyder; adopted daughter,
Olivia Davis of Waco; two brothers, R.L. Pecina and E.L. Pecina, both of
Marlin; two sisters, Frances Tenerio of Marlin, and Lupe DeAnda of Houston; 24
grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Adams Funeral in Marlin was in
charge of arrangements.
