Mabel Agnes (Mimms) Fischer

June 20, 1890 – September 19, 1975

 

 

     FISCHER, Mrs. Mabel (Walter D.) of Marlin. Age 85. Died 9/19/1975 (Friday) in a Marlin nursing home. Services held (Sat.) in Adams Funeral in Marlin. Burial in Marlin's Calvin Cemetery. Rev. Marshall McQueen officiated.

 

     She was BORN 6/20/1890 in North Carolina. Married Walter Dan Fischer in 1912 and they resided in Marlin. Preceded in death by husband in 1960. Charter member of the Marlin Wednesday Afternoon Sewing Club, member and past worthy matron of the Marlin Order of the Eastern Star Lodge and lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church of Marlin.

 

     SURVIVORS: 3 sons, Walter E. Fischer of Rockdale, Leonard E. Fischer and Leslie E. Fischer, both of Marlin; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
