Funeral services for Billy J. Feldman, 76,of College Station, were held
Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in College
Station with Reverend Caleb Schoeneck officiating.
Visitation held on Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station. A
song service was also held at the funeral home. Burial was in College Station
Cemetery. Billy passed away at his residence Thursday morning, April 24, 2008.
He was born in Marlin, Texas to William F. and Ella Glockzin Feldman. He
and his family moved to College Station in 1955. Billy was a devoted member of
Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in College Station, and was very active in the
Texas Special Olympics and the Tiger Club at A&M Consolidated, serving as
President of both during his service to these organizations. He also served in
the Texas National Guard.
His parents, a sister, Norma Salisbury, preceded him in death.
Billy is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Feldman of College Station;
one daughter, Carolyn K. Feldman of College Station; two sons and one daughter-in-law,
Ronald J. and Cheryl Feldman of College Station and Michael G. Feldman of
Normangee; one sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie Ann and Randy Ledbetter of
Pearland; a step-brother, Donald Moore and his wife Carol of Mexia; three
grandchildren; Alyssa Anne Feldman, Michael Dain Feldman, and Christopher
Feldman; and four great-grandchildren; Megan Feldman, Tyler Feldman, Emma
Feldman, and Issac Feldman.
Memorials may be made to Beautiful Savoir Lutheran Church, Hospice
Brazos Valley or the Texas Special Olympics.
Services were under the direction of
Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
