Martin Felan Sr.

July 2, 1924 - December 23, 2008

 

Martin Felan Sr., 84, of Golinda, passed away Dec. 23, 2008, at Providence Hospital. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday Dec. 28, at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at St. Francis Catholic Church and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

 

He was born July 2, 1924, in Mooreville, Texas, to Pedro and Juana Felan.

 

He was a lifelong Golinda resident. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

 

He is survived by his sons, Martin Felan Jr. and wife, Juanita of Waco, and Pete Felan and wife, Barbara of McGregor; daughters, Jane Salinas and husband, George of Waco, and Mary Pecina and husband, John of Marlin; sisters, Ella Ortiz of Bruceville and Frances DeLeon of Golinda; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
