Joey Dale Ethridge, 24, of Hewitt, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 1999 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.  Graveside services were held Friday at Hope Cemetery near Marlin.

Joey was born on November 27, 1974 in Rosebud to William and Cheryll O'Neal Ethridge.  He was a former resident of Beaumont and was a member of the Waco Hog Chapter.

He is survived by his wife, Arvette Ethridge of Waco; daughter, Mercedes Brianna Ethridge of Waco; mother, Cheryll Ethridge of Hewitt; father, Billy Ethridge of Lorena; sister, Chekota Ethridge of Hewitt; paternal grandmother, Lucille Hamilton of Marlin; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
