     Death took Mrs. H. O. Erwin, a greatly loved resident of the New Salem community, Thursday morning. Pneumonia was the cause.  Deceased leaves a husband, seven sons and one daughter in addition to a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.  The funeral was held at the Phillips cemetery.
