ZADIE ENGLISH EAKIN
FORMER RANCHER, 95

       CHILTON -- Zadie English Eakin of Chilton, a former rancher, died Saturday at her home.  She was 95.
       Services will be at 2 p.m.  Tuesday at the Adams Funeral chapel in Marlin, the Rev. A.A. Bratcher officiating.  Burial wil follow in Chilton Cemetery.
       Mrs. Eakin was born Oct. 27, 1898, in Blevins.  She married Merlin Maywood Eakin on July 20, 1919, in Golinda, he died June 7, 1965.  She worked for a number of years as a substitute mail carrier in Chilton and also was a rancher.  She had lived in Chilton since 1909 and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Demonstration Club.  She also was preceded in death by a son, Merlin Maywood Eakin, Jr., on May 26, 1903.
       Survivors include one son, Bill Eakin of Houston, one daughter, Mary Sawyer of Chilton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
