Annie Bartek Doskocil
April 8, 1916 – April 22, 2007
Annie
Bartek Doskocil, 91, of Zabcikville, formerly of Westphalia, died Sunday, April
22, 2007, in a Temple nursing center.
Services
were held Wednesday in the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia. Rev. Walter
Dhanwar and Rev. Danny Garcia officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in
Westphalia.
A
rosary was recited Tuesday evening in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral
in Rosebud.
Mrs.
Doskocil was born April 8, 1916 in Red Ranger to Joseph Martin and Marie
Bordovsky Bartek. She attended Red Ranger and Meeks schools. She married
Raymond Vaclav Doskocil on October 16, 1933. She was a homemaker and a member
of KJZT Society 26 in Cyclone for over 60 years. She was a member of the Church
of the Visitation.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Marvin Joseph Doskocil and Lee
Roy Doskocil, a daughter, Irene Annette Doskocil; and a great-granddaughter,
Kristin Doskocil.
Survivors
include sons, Calvin Doskocil, Raymond Doskocil and Larry Doskocil, all of
Westphalia; four daughters, Mary Ann Jones of Belton, Janet Kasner of Temple,
Delores Zipperlen of Rosebud, and Josie Kleypas of Austin; three sisters, Janie
Jecmenek of Temple, Bessie Kleypas of Marlin and Wilma Younts of Cyclone; 30
grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
