Dead At His Hotel in Washing-
ton. City.

       Dallas, Aug. 29.--Private telegrams received here tonight announce the sudden death of Congressman DeGraffenreidt in Washington City.
       Congressman DeGraffenreidt was in Washington looking after public matters in which his district is concerned and was the same active robust man he has always been until he dropped dead in his hotel. Heart failure was the cause of his death.
