Jennie Lee Damron, 91, of Waco,
went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at a local
hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at OakCrest Funeral Chapel with Mark Wible officiating. Graveside services will follow at Walker's
Creek Cemetery near Cameron. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, at OakCrest
Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Mrs. Damron was born June 5, 1917
in Eddy to William A. Conner and Lula Mae Alexander Conner. She was employed at
Southwestern Drug in Waco for 14 years and served as a dedicated church nursery
worker for over 50 years. Mrs. Damron was a member of Highland Baptist Church
where she participated in the Fellowship of Naomis. She devoted her life to
serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; her husband, Loyle Eugene Damron; daughter, Shirley Mae Damron; three
sisters; and two brothers.
Mrs. Damron is survived by her
two daughters, Sharon Kay Cooper and husband, Michael of Cypress and Martha
Moore and husband, Marvin of China Spring; five grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed in her
name to the Highland Baptist Church Building for Life Campaign or to the Bible
distributions program of Gideons International.

Cooper, Joshua Cooper, Darren Paris, David Laymance, Joseph Paris and Joshua
Barrett. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Brown, Aaron Cooper, Dylan Paris,
Brady Paris, Hunter Laymance and Hagen Kelley.
