Sam G. Davis, a well known young man reared in this county, died in Pueblo, Colorado, Sunday after a protracted illness.

He resided at Rosebud for several years, but was raised at Mooreville, being the son of Mr. W. W. Davis, on the county's oldest and best cizizens(sic).

Deceased left Rosebud some months ago and went to Mexico for his health. In fact, he traveled over a large portion of the world in an effort to regain his health. He had consumption. He was about 35 years of age and unmarried.
