Ira Lemuel Burns

 

     Ira Lemuel Burns, 89, of Baileyville, near Rosebud, passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2008. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral in Rosebud. Burial will follow services at Powers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

 

     He was preceded in death by a grandson, Lance Ellison Burns, in 1991.

 

     Survivors include his wife, Florine Burns of Baileyville; one son, Ellison Burns of Waco; one daughter, Suzy Reed of Palestine; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
