TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS
TOLD AT PARTY

"Let's Keep Christmas," a Christmas story by Peter Marshall, was told by Mrs. Braden Adkins, at the Christmas Party given by members of the Homemaker's Sunday School Class in the Fellowship Roots of the First Baptist Church Monday evening.

A Christmas tree and other colorful decorations gave atmosphere to the the occasion.  The tables were streamlined with greenery and the speaker table decorated with arrangement  of greenery and colorful Christmas balls.

Mrs. Virginia Yoakum, class president, presided.  Mrs. Cliff Myers gave the turkey for the dinner, and thanks was expressed to her by the membership.

Mrs. Henry Church, former teacher, gave the invocation, and Mrs. Joel McGegor, present teacher, extended greetings.

Husbands of the members were special guests.

At the conclusion of the dinner, Mrs. Adkins told the story of the true meaning of Christmas and in conclusion asked that "we keep Christmas in our hearts all year long, and consider others at all times in brotherly love."

Forty-four persons attended the Christmas party.
