BLEVINS NEWS

Tuesday's rain measured one-fourth of an inch.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe McPherson returned from Altus, Okla., and report crops in that section still in the fields and green.

Several from here attended funeral services in Eddy for Thomas Page who died in a Temple hospital.  He was a rural postman here many years ago, in the horse and buggy days.

Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Henry went to Waco on Monday to see her mother, Mrs. Hubert Gummelt and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Allen and Mrs. R. C. Litteral shopped in Temple on Friday.

J. E. Bowers returned from King's Daughters Hospital in Temple on Monday, October 8 and is doing nicely.
