                            FORMER ROSEBUD WOMAN IS BURIED AT CAMERON

 

            Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Plocek, 73, were held at St. Monica’s Catholic Church Sunday by Father John O’Reagan.  Burial was in St. Michael’s cemetery.

            Mrs. Plocek died at 2 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 1950, at the of her son, Roy Plocek, at Cotulla after a short illness.  She lived in Rosebud before going to Cotulla.  Her husband preceded her in death 17 years ago.

            She is survived by seven sons, Walter of Cameron, Willie of Rosebud, Arnold of Burlington, George of Bishop, Herman, Roy and Melvin Plocek of Cotulla; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Fuchs of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Ernest Rock of Pearsall; an adopted daughter, Mrs. Arthur Mensel of Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Behne of Rosebud, Mrs. Katie Ordner of Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Hilda Gotach of Rowena; three brothers, Emil Brod of D’Hanis, Joe Brod of Houston and Hallie Brod of San Angelo; 21 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
