Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Burney and daughter, Brenda, and Mrs. J. W. Hardin of Houston; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Horton of Lufkin, and Thomas Stone, student at Sam Houston State Teachers College, Huntsville, were weekend guests in the of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Jordan, and to visit their father and grandfather, J. H. Burney who is confined to a Marlin convalescent with illness.
