GIRL SCOUTS GATHER
SUPPLIES FOR WACO
TORNADO VICTIMS

       The Marlin Girl Scouts canvass on Saturday for money, food and clothing for the Waco tornado victims is reported to have received a very cooperative response from the Marlin homes.
       Mrs. W. G. Dunkum, chairman of the Marlin Girl Scout Board reported that the girls assembled the donations and then assisted the adult leaders in sorting, classifying and packing some 50 boxes of clothing and foods.  Twenty-five dollars in cash donations were received.  Chris Parsons hauled the materials to Waco.
