Linda Sue Kirkpatrick is a new daughter in the of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Kirkpatrick.  She arrived March 10th.

Mrs. A. G. Woodland and Miss Sandra Woodland of Marlin were
weekend guests of Mrs. J. H. Matthews.

Miss Imogene Turnipseed of Dallas was a visitor of her parents last weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Matthews and family spent Sunday in Groesbeck.

George MacDonald of Bryan was a visitor in the of his grandmother, Mrs. Sibyl Burnett and Mrs. Eula Young lst week.  He was among those in the Woodard-Harper wedding party at Marlin Friday.

Mrs. Bill Story and son Jeffrey of Houston spent last week with her parents here.

Mrs. James Harlan and Mrs. Joseph Funderburk attended a yard demonstration on March 12 at the of Mrs. Hollis King, R. C. Atkins, agriculture agent, addresed the group.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Harlan of Austin visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Harlan this week.

Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Pringle visited Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Pringle in Kosse Sunday.

Mrs. Temple Adams was a weekend guest of Mrs. Addie Matthews.

Mr. and Mrs. Micky Smith and children of Tyler visited Mr. and Mrs. I. F. Danford last week.

Miss Shirley Danford of Baylor University at Waco spent last week at with her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gunter of Lampasas was a visitor in the O. L. Moore Sunday.

The Baptist W.M.S. met Monday at the church.  Nine members present. Mrs. Hugh Davison conducted the Mission Royal Service study.  Those on the program were, Mrs. I. F. Danford, Mrs. O. L. Moore, Mrs. Claud Buell, Mrs. J. D. McDaleb, Mrs. W. A. Price.

Mrs. Z. A. Burke, C. C. McCollum, Joe Haley, Mrs. W. A. Stallworth attended the funeral of Louis Hicks at Chilton on Monday.

The Methodist Women's Social Christian Service met Monday at the church.  Eight members present.  Mrs. John Cheney led the program from the "Methodist Woman."

Sallie Beatrice is the name of a new daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Davison at Pasadena.  The arrived March 11th.  Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Davison at Reagan.
