BETA NU CHAPTER GROUP OF DELTA KAPPA GAMMA

                                            MET IN CHILTON SATURDAY

Beta Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma met in Chilton, February 25, for a breakfast with the members from Chilton as hostesses who were Mesdames Ralph Morse, Annie T. Magee, and Leona Dickey.

Mrs. J. M. Wilson of Marlin was the speaker for the occasion and was introduced by Miss Eulalah Brown.  Mrs. Wilson’s talk concerned “Personal and Professional Adjustments.”  She stated that teaching is one of the three greatest professions in the world, that teachers should meet changing conditions, and that their lives can never be permanently adjusted, for they are constantly facing situations that are unadjusted and their duty is to make adjustments that will be acceptable personally and socially.  A teacher should radiate cheerfulness, fairness, consideration of others, friendliness, sympathy, and understanding.  Thus he can show growth into a better person and teacher.

During the business meeting which followed, President Mrs. Ralph Morse, presented plans and appointed committees for Beta Nu duties in the State Convention in San Antonio and for the National Convention in Dallas.  Delegates to accompany Mrs.

Morse to the State Convention are Mrs. Henry Williams, Mrs. Annie T. Magee, Mrs. Lillian Romaine, Mrs. A.C. Dunn, and Mrs. Byron Stubbs.
