INTEREST SHOWN HERE
IN MECHANICAL DRAWING

Thirty-five Enrolled for A. & M.
Sponsored Free Course Here--
Others May Enroll Up to
Friday.

"There's considerable interest being shown in the free mechanical drawing course now open to any who desire to enroll,"  J. L. Burkes, teacher assisting A. & M. College instructors who are sponsoring the course, said Tuesday.  "Here's a real opportunity for those who seek knowledge and training in a badly needed activity offering big opportunities.  After the course is finished, enrollees may find it advantageous to enlist for further training in which they will be paid.  Employment is attainable in mechanical drawings at good salaries."
The course here is being held at the Marlin High school building.  Thirty five persons have enrolled for the course, Mr. Burkes said and others may enroll in the present course if they will make they will report not later than Friday. (Error here in construction of sentence).  After Friday, he said, the course will be well along and it will not be practical for new enrollees to start until another course begins.
