Funeral of Deceased Announced With Burial in McClanahan
Cemetery

Mrs. Virginia Sikes died about noon today in the of her son, W.
R. Sikes on Foster street, with whom she resided. She had been ill about two
months.
A native of Louisana, Mrs. Sikes had lived in Falls county for upwards
of 25 years, the last 11 of which she had spent in Marlin. She was a member
of the Latter Day Saints church.

REAGAN YOUTH WEST POINT
LACROSSE SQUAD MEMBER

Scheduled to Make Trip With Team to Play Harvard

Cadet Travis M. Hetheringtron, Reagan, Texas, who entered the U.S.
Military Academy at West Point in 1929, is a member of the army lacrosse
squad, which started its spring schedule March 28. He was appointed to West
Point by Senator Tom Connally when the latter was representative of teh 11th
Texas district.
Hetherington was a member of the freshman lacrosse squad last year,
winning his class numerals. He is a rifle expert.
Hetherington will make two trips away from West Point with the
lacrosse squad, one on April 25th to play Harvard and the other on May 30th
to play Dartmouth College.
