PLAN TERRACING MEETINGS IN FALLS AND LIMESTONE

Lantern Slides Slated at Night Sessions With Demonstrations in the Day.

A night meeting at Groesbeeck July 17, a demonstration in Limestone county and night meeting at Marlin July 18 and a demonstration in Falls county July 20 are included in a series of terracing meetings to show by lantern slides at night and by demonstrations in the day the best methods of constructing terraces in the blackland belt of South Texas, using various kinds of machinery, which has been announced for the territory extending from San Antonio to Waco for the period of July 6-20, by M. R. Bentley, Texas A. and M. College and the United States Department of Agriculture.

Co-operating in these meetings will be J. E. McDonald, commissioner of agriculture; A. K. Short, terracing and soil conservation agent of the Houston Federal Land Bank, and R. Reece, agricultural representative of the M. K. & T. railroad.

The meetings in each county will be in charge of the local county agent.
