SUPREME COURT DISMISSES
LOTT ROAD DISTRICT CASE

Application for Writ of Error Filed
by Plaintiffs Acted
Upon.

Application for a write of error was dismissed for want of jurisdiction by the Texas supreme court at Austin Wednesday in the case of J. W. Grisham et al vs. Falls county, a suit seeking an injunction against levying and collection of a special tax in connection with the Lott No. 4 road district bond issue.
After the injection was denied at a hearing in Falls county district court in Marlin, plaintiffs carried the case to the Tenth court of civil appeals at Waco which affirmed the verdict.
The case was then taken to supreme court which announced its decision Wednesday.  Motion for a rehearing would be the next step in event the case is carried further.
