WAY TO NEW OIL FIELD

Man Who Drilled Well Says it Will
Be Opened up When Tanks
Are Installed

Storage facilities are en route to C. C. Curtis' J. L.Davis No. 1 in the new Falls county oil field, stated Mr. Curtis as he left Marlin this morning for the well.

As soon as tanks are installed, it will be opened up and accurate determination of its daily flow ill then be possible.

Mr. Curtis manifested enthusiasm over outlook for development of the new strike.

Casing has been set and the well is under control, earthern reservoirs
(missing) constructed being provided to take care of as much of the oil flowing out of the hole as possible before it was brought under control.

Mr. Curtis said development of the holdings on which the well is located is expected to proceed as rapidly as possible.

Much of the influx of oil men to Marlin Monday night was from Tyler and other points in the mammoth East Texas field, while members of the fraternity from Luling, Seguin, and Austin also were reported here.
