Attendance of Negroes Still Light
Account of Cotton
Picking.

Attendance of children at the Marlin public white schools now totals 808, H. J. McIlhany, superintendent, announced today.  Of this number, 301 are in the high school and 507 in the elementary school.

Attendance at the negro schools is reported still light, attributed principally to cotton picking.
